Hoop Night 2/9/2010

Tennessee @ Vanderbilt, 7pm ET, ESPN

Georgetown @ Providence, 7pm ET, ESPN2

VCU @ George Mason, 7pm ET, ESPNU

I tried like hell to find a way to get to the UT @ Vandy game this year. I have fallen in love with the ugly beauty of Memorial Gym, and the ferocity of the rivalry between these two SEC contenders. G'town at Providence will probably be less interesting than VCU at Mason, because the Rams and Patriots are both top teams in the CAA, jockeying for post-season positioning.

Purdue @ Michigan State, 9pm ET, ESPN

Alabama @ Kentucky, 9pm ET, ESPNU

Damn fine Big Ten game going on here. It should be absolutely deafening in the Breslin Center.

I'd prefer a KU/K-State final game, because then I can pretend I'm 22 again. #kubball BIG 8 FOR LIFE!!!
