ESPN's College Basketball Nation: Our blog-buddy Eamonn Brennan, who has edited the Yahoo! blog The Dagger for a year or so, just announced that he's headed over to work on ESPNU's new college hoops blog full time. He'll be working alongside some of our favorite writers, like Andy Katz, Pat Forde, and Dana O'Neil, which is only appropriate, because he's one of our favorite writers, too. We've always enjoyed the dot-com's hoops coverage, and the U has been a serious boon for television coverage of the sport. We can't wait to see what happens when Eamonn shows up on Friday. Bone Voyagee, EB!

STF Book Club

I Don't Mind Hitting Bottom, I Just Hate Dragging
Kennesaw State head coach Tony Ingle has been called "The Will Rogers of Basketball". This book, co-written by Kyle Whelliston, proves that statement again and again. As the Georgia-born Ingle says at one point in the book: "It was just like Hoosiers, but with thicker accents." A great read.

Basketball State
If you're not a member of Basketball State, you're missing out. We can rectify that problem you're having. Just head over to BB State and join up, using the special code for STF readers: bigant. It's good for two bucks off the cover price, and in this economy, you're going to need it. It's good all season long, so you have no excuse. Don't make us sic Guillermo on you.
