Hoop Night 11/12/09

Late again! I have to figure out how to be Mr. Mom and still bring the crucial hoops information to the public. Perhaps I should try cloning?

James Madison at Ohio State, 7pm ET, Big Ten Network

I announced earlier today that Ohio State would be playing UNC in the semis of the Coaches vs. Cancer tournament, despite the fact that this early-round game hasn't been played yet. That's because, even if JMU somehow wins, they aren't allowed to advance to Madison Square Garden. The CvC has given into the tide of phony tournaments that offers mid-major cannon fodder in the early games and guaranteed crowd-pleasing spectacle at MSG later on. I think we can safely blame Billy Gillispie for that; Gardner-Webb was "not supposed" to upset Kentucky and ruin everyone's fun.

JMU has last year's CAA Freshman of the Year. OSU has a guy who threw down a triple-double on Monday. You do the math.

Nice to be visiting your blog again, it has been months for me. Well this article that i've been waited for so long. I need this article to complete my assignment in the college, and it has same topic with your article. Thanks, great share.

April, should that happen, you can count on it. I'm actually kind of excited to see what Kenneth Faried can do against them.

Eric Angevine, what ever. I would dearly love it if Morehead would beat UK tonight. Then you can dog Big Cal.

What They're Saying About STF

And the winner, with nine points and an almost unheard-of upsetting of Livia's mom, soon to be proud recipient of the Sleepover of the Damned trophy (under construction) and a Slap Ya Mama gift basket is ... a basketball writer? Stranger things have happened (like no shots of Kim Kardashian during the entire game broadcast), but not many. Our sincere congratulations to Eric "ExtraP" Angevine, and we'll see all y'all next January. Stay sharky.
