Had this brief exchange on twitter last night:
lukewinn: Taking (friendly) wagers: How many rebs can Turner get against North Carolina?
stfhoops: Five RT @lukewinn: Taking (friendly) wagers: How many rebs can Turner get against North Carolina?
lukewinn: @stfhoops I've got dibs on eight.
Which brings us to...
Ohio State 72 - James Madison 44 (Coaches vs. Cancer)
Nobody from JMU accrued double-digits in any statistical category last night. (OK, yes, minutes played is a statistical category. You got me. Smartass) OSU's Evan Turner continued to impress, going for 24 points 4 assists, and 17 rebounds. His play overshadowed that of teammate David Lighty (14 pts, 3 steals) and William Buford (12 pts). The Buckeyes were weak from behind the arc, managing just 23.5%. In their next game, against defending National Champs UNC, that's not going to get it done.
NC State 69 - Georgia State 53
Tonight was a relatively busy one for CAA fans. Few expected the Dukes to compete with OSU, but former ACC stalwart NC State was ripe for the picking. The Wolfpack shot poorly from the floor (40%) even worse from the three-point line (18%) and got less-than-ideal minutes from starting F Tracy Smith (25 minutes due to foul trouble). The game was actually tied early in the second half. The final tale of the tape came at the free throw line, as NC State hit 75% of their charities on a 23-17 foul differential. Double-digit scorers Smith and Julius Mays each picked up ten points at the stripe.
November Madness
Don't forget that STF will be running live chat windows throughout Tuesday's hoops marathon. If you find yourself sitting at work, wondering how the games are going, head over and join the chat. And then open up ScoreTracker, because we tend to make smart remarks more often than we update scores. But it's sooo much more fun that way.

Fantastic work. You have gained a new fan. I hope you keep up the good work and I await more of the same absorbing posts. may I put a link for this post on my website please?
I am going to start training for a local marathon and I am using a program developed by Marrius Bakken. It's a really good system, I am just throwing it out there for those who are interested in a good system.
Cool, there is actually some great ideas on this post some of my friends just might find this worthwhile, I will send them a link, many thanks.
